Designing DigitalIntelligence
I'm Naol Girma, a Software Engineer & Founder working on cloud media platforms, payment integrations, and AI-assisted pipelines.
Who I Am
Architecting Ideas Into Reality.
I'm Naol Girma — a software engineer and founder. Most of my work sits in three areas: cloud media delivery, payment systems, and the APIs that connect them.
As the founder of Vistatour, a virtual tour platform, I built the AI-assisted stitching pipeline for large panoramic images and the delivery layer behind it — compression, cloud storage, and CDN — so tours stay loadable on slow connections.
As Team Lead for Potentia (US), I built the payment workflows — Stripe for cards and NOWPayments for crypto — and the modular backend that reconciles both into a single order and auth flow.
I care about readable code, measured performance, and shipping systems I can keep maintaining after launch.

Milestones
Work Timeline.
Vistatour
- —Designed and built a virtual tour platform for real estate and education use cases
- —Developed a media processing pipeline using AI-assisted techniques to stitch and enhance panoramic images
- —Built a custom compression and cloud-storage layer to keep large panoramic assets deliverable over CDN on low-bandwidth connections
- —Led full lifecycle: system architecture, development, deployment, and iteration
Potentia, United States
- —Designed backend systems for secure authentication, payments, and scalable data handling
- —Integrated Stripe (fiat) and NOWPayments (crypto) into a single checkout and order pipeline
- —Organized the backend into modular services to isolate payments, auth, and data access

Shipped Systems & Deployments.
Vistatour
A 360° virtual tour platform built end to end. An AI-assisted pipeline stitches and enhances raw panoramas; the output is compressed and served from cloud storage behind a CDN, and a WebGL viewer loads each scene progressively so a tour is navigable on 2G before the full-resolution panorama finishes downloading. The core constraint was holding large stitched panoramas to a payload budget low-bandwidth clients could actually load.
Pavilion 360
Site and back office for an event rental and production company. Built on Next.js with local SEO/GEO markup for regional discovery, a custom admin panel, and an inventory system that tracks products, bookings, and production assets in one place — so availability stays consistent between the public catalog and the booking flow.
Ovid
A React Native real-estate app for iOS and Android with an in-app storefront and embedded Vistatour 360° tours. Buyers browse listings, walk through a space, and check out from a single codebase; the virtual-tour layer is reused from Vistatour rather than rebuilt per platform.
Metropolitian
A property listing site that embeds 360° walkthroughs through the Vistatour API. Each listing pulls its tour from the same backend that powers Vistatour, so the viewer, tiling, and delivery are reused, and listings render a live tour inline instead of static photos.
Essential Store
An essential-oils storefront on Next.js with Stripe checkout and a custom CMS. Catalog, orders, and content are managed from one dashboard, so non-technical staff can edit products and copy without touching code or a third-party admin.
Potentia
The pre-launch platform for Potentia, a hash marketplace. It runs two payment rails behind one checkout — Stripe for fiat and NOWPayments for crypto — with an admin dashboard over orders and users. The hard part was reconciling two settlement models, card authorization versus on-chain confirmation, into a single order state.
